Five Medals for 2011
This year Carafe Wine Brantford picked up 5 medals at the 2011 Wine Maker International Amateur Wine Competition.The event is the largest wine competition of its kind in the world. This year over 4200 wines were entered from all over the world. Kit wines competed alongside fresh-grape entries in the blind testing.
Our award winning entries were a Cabernet Franc ice wine from Okanogan Valley (GOLD), a Tannat from Uruguay, South America (GOLD), an Australian Grenache (SILVER), a South African Shiraz (SILVER), and a blending of Tempranillo, Grenacha and Carinena (BRONZE) from Spain.
